    Whiskey irlandese (Irish Whiskey)

    I distillati di cereali prodotti in Irlanda sono denominati Irish Whiskey. Il whiskey irlandese è ottenuto tramite un giusto mix di cereali maltati e non. La presenza di orzo non maltato conferisce una maggiore morbidezza al distillato, ma, per ottenere un buon risultato finale occorre che la bevanda venga distillata tre volte e non due come per lo Scotch Whisky.

    P.S Produttori americani e irlandesi etichettano il loro distillato con la parola WHISKEY, mentre WHISKY viene usato per indicare i distillati canadesi, scozzesi e giapponesi.
